The Real Truth About Virtual Summits

Let’s clear something up right out of the gate:

Despite what the gurus and influencers are promising on your feed or in their free lead generating event (spoiler: they want your money), the average person just starting out with no contact list does not make thousands of dollars or get flooded with a gazillion leads from their first virtual summit.

The average first time summit host, with no list, and no following is not cashing in on VIP upgrades or raking it in from selling the recordings or a “free consultation.”

Someone (usually speaking in a free training or other free event) nonchalantly dropping that they never make less than $25k on their virtual summits is very likely leaving out some important factors. (They already have a huge list to promote to, they didn't mention what their first event with zero followers generated, they're lying, or they are leaving out other crucial details.)

Anyone giving you that impression is likely trying to sell you into one of their programs… which conveniently leads to their coaching package… which leads to their mastermind… which leads to your credit card needing a nap.

There are plenty of sharks out there, some wearing the disguise of faith-based mentors, “it” marketing experts, or niche coaches who claim to know your industry better than you do (until they pivot tomorrow).

Many of them change their pitch as often as they change their daily outfits.

Let’s get real:

There is no coach, program, or course that can magically bring in thousands of dollars from a first time summit for someone starting from zero with no list, no huge following and no big name influencer to promote them.

Even with those things, if your offer, your message, and your confidence (aka: posture) aren’t aligned with what your audience needs, they won’t buy.

That doesn’t mean success isn’t possible.
